Kepler-62b is the innermost planet in the system, a barren world with a thick, toxic atmosphere. The planet is tidally locked, with one side scorched by the system’s star and the other side in perpetual darkness. The planet’s surface is covered in vast volcanic plains and sulfuric seas, making it unsuitable for colonization. Geography
The surface is dominated by volcanic activity, sulfuric lakes, and vast plains of cracked rock. On the dark side, the frozen landscape is dotted with eldritch obelisks, which some believe to be ancient beacons of alien origin.
