Elysian

Elysian is the largest and most habitable of Alpha Centauri Tertius' moons, acting as a corporate-run city and mining colony. The moon has a thin but breathable atmosphere, and much of its surface has been transformed into a sprawling industrial complex. Elysian is also home to a large population of corporate workers, scientists, and military personnel. Due to its central role in resource extraction for the Alpha Centauri System, it is one of the most heavily fortified moons in the system.

Several research institutions, including Oranos Institute, operate on Elysian, studying the eldritch artifacts occasionally uncovered during mining operations.

Geography

Mountain ranges and deep craters dominate Elysian’s surface. The Northern Mountain Belt is particularly rich in resources, while the Elysian Basin houses the main industrial centers. The moon’s southern hemisphere contains ancient alien ruins that have become the subject of much debate and study.
