Alpha Centauri Secundus (AC-Secundus) is a partially terraformed world, home to several agricultural colonies and research outposts. Originally a barren planet with a thin atmosphere, it was targeted for terraforming centuries ago. However, the process was never fully completed due to The Great Silence and the loss of critical technological knowledge. The planet remains habitable, but with pockets of hostile environments, including regions where eldritch anomalies make life particularly dangerous.

Much of their work focuses on developing hardy crop species capable of surviving in harsh conditions, as well as biome manipulation for future terraforming efforts.

The northern hemisphere is dominated by vast plains and agricultural complexes, while the southern regions are marked by rocky deserts and failed terraforming sites, where eldritch anomalies disrupt natural weather cycles. The Valley of Echoes, in particular, is known for creating distorted sound waves and strange auditory hallucinations.
