The Abyssal Trench is the most prominent geographical feature on Hades, a massive rift that stretches across the northern hemisphere. This colossal chasm plunges miles into the planet's crust, and its depths remain largely unexplored. The Trench serves multiple grim purposes: it is a dumping ground for toxic waste, failed experiments, and the bodies of prisoners who do not survive the harsh conditions of Hades. The sheer size and depth of the Trench have earned it a reputation as a place of no return.

• The Drop Zone: A section of the Trench where waste disposal and body dumping are carried out. This area is heavily guarded, and only authorized personnel are permitted access. The Drop Zone is also rumored to be a site where secret experiments are conducted far from prying eyes.
• Echoing Chasm: A particularly deep part of the Trench known for its eerie acoustics. The winds that howl through the chasm create unsettling echoes that can be heard for miles. Prisoners and workers alike avoid this area, believing it to be cursed.
