Billy the Hero Breaks the Chains of Fate at Worlds End

At World's End, where all of Creation came to seize the Chains of Fate in hopes that they may write the destinies of men themselves, Billy the Hero came to lay low Master Geppetto, the King of Puppets, and his prized golem, Pinocchio-01. Their battle was that legend, but in the end, Billy slew the Puppet King and Pinocchio-01, finally laying the soul of Geppetto's son Prince Ulstano to rest. With the battle won, Billy had one last opponent, Lord Merlin, an agent of fate, compelled to re-enslave the cosmos to destiny where Billy would free it. Forced to fight a man he once called friend, Billy steeled his resolve and saw his vision through. Despite wounds and weariness, he shattered the shackles of destiny itself, sending tremors reverberating through the very essence of existence. For destiny, the singular thread weaving infinite possibilities into a static reality, lay sundered, birthing henceforth the Multiverse as we perceive it. Heralded by the Muses as a figure of mythic valor, Billy returned to Mars, where beneath the fading hues of a final sunset, he breathed his last within the embrace of his family's garden.
