Uhäälvakin
Uhäälvakin is not a god, but a spirit of Juuto. He is a manifestation of disease, famine, and violence. Juuto, the actual god of death, is a neutral figure who gathers the souls of the dead and maintains the balance of the world.
Uhäälvakin, on the other hand, is actively malevolent. He is considered to be a manifestation of Juuto's power, operating independently from him. His name means plague bringer, and where he walks, death and despair follows. He appears in a long, tattered cloak of green so deep it is nearly black. The only part of his body that is visible is his head, which is the skull of a caribou. Deep in the eye sockets, a white light glows.
He breathes out sickness like a mist. When a village is stricken by disease, it is a sure sign that Uhäälvakin has passed through. When crops fail to grow, it is because he has blighted the land. His presence stokes the flames of war, urging men toward violence.
They say you might glimpse him in the woods, gliding past the trees in the distance. This is a terrible omen for you and your community. Some attempt to pacify him by making burnt offerings in his name. A village stricken by disease will always at least attempt such a ritual with the nearest druids.
