Tale of Giants
Come around and listen well
For I am about to tell you a tale
About a creature that looks like a man but is not at all
For they are taller than a dozen men combined
They go by many names all across the land
but all call them by their massive size
Giants, giants,
Beasts that are ever defiant
For they will never be chain
They bow to no one but to their own
Living up high in their mountain home
Looking on down on the world below
But when they come down they always hard to miss
Giants, giants,
Beasts that are ever defiant
For they will never be chained
Whenever they walk the ground shakes as is about to break
On the move in search of a meal to sate their appetite
Breaking everything in their way as if it was not there at all
For their strength is something that should not sell short
Giants, giants,
Beasts that are ever defiant
For they will never be chained
They can tear apart a man with ease or stomp them to the ground
They wrestle with any beast that crosses their path
For they will be sure to feel their wrath
Their roars are like the sound of thunder
As they take away whatever they can plunder
Giants, giants,
Beasts that are ever defiant
For they will never be chained
They roam the land in search of something to put in their stew
It does not matter what it is for it will have to do
As they must return to their mountain home once more
To avoid the fire and steel of men who want to wage war
But they will never catch up to them for they vanish into the mountain mists
Where no one would dare go and the giants will have their stew once more
Enjoying their tasty meal until they search for their next meal in the lands down below
Giants, giants,
Beasts that are ever defiant
For they will never be chained
For they rather fall then ever be enslaved
