Manufacturing process

The ingots are melted down and mixed together and placed into a crucible and into a furnace to properly fuse then together with charcoal to remove impurities. During this time the more charcoal in placed inside the furnace to produce extreme heat. It is removed from the furnace and allowed to cool down before the puck is retrieved. It is then reheated and then it is hammered out several times and a donut hole is placed in the center to create an opening on one side of the puck to create a cut once the hole is made large enough. It is allowed to harden and It is heat cycles again and again until it turns into a straight bar. It is then put into sword shape and tip is reheated several to form the tip of the sword after extensive hammering. This hammering is also done to the rest of the sword until it meet its final shape. Then the fuller in the sword is cut out and are formed into it. Runes are also placed into the lines on the sword and magic material is placed inside the lines of the runes and incantations are said to activate them. It is filed down and reheated to be placed into a tub of oil to harden it. It is left into another hot oil bath for a while before being removed to make it temper. It is then sharpened on a grinder and the cross guard, handle and pummel and placed on for the final touch.

Significance

It was the sword that was wielded by St Ganacus during the Night war. It has stayed many creatures of the dark and even the vampire queen Korillia. The sword itself is considered a holy relic by the Church of the Spirit and Flame and of important significance to Black Order and the Order of the Righteous Flame since Saint Ganacus was a member of both. It is said to be somewhere in the Hall of Saints and has not been disturbed ever since.
