History
For The Good of All
It is common knowledge that the Ruskev are strong and hardy people who live in their homeland. This is mainly due to their upbringing, as they need to be capable of adapting to it as soon as possible. A Roveni has a strong sense of community, with everyone playing their part in daily life to ensure that everything is maintained, as there are few comforts. It is often why children, when they reach the appropriate age, are made into adults, as they are capable of taking up more duties, leading them to understand hardship better and be used to it, allowing them to be better prepared for situations that require them to what they must to survive and maintain their host. Engraving in them a desire to do their part and do what they can for their community as they are apart of something greater than themsleves.Execution
In wild and untamed places, such as northern steppes, it is imperative for all who live upon it to learn fast as they grow to survive the many dangers that exist across its land. No one knows this as much as the Ruskev that travel across it as they migrate throughout the year, dealing with unrelenting weather, vicious wildlife, and outsiders that wish to harm them. While adults have a fighting chance, their children do not have such a luxury, as it takes time for them to grow and fend for themselves, needing their parents to shield them from the many dangers they face. It is not until they grow strong enough that they can truly understand the hardship they will face by exposing it early so they are better prepared for it.

Becoming An Adult
When I become a man, I can finally go hunting with my brothers on my very own horse. - Little BoyChildren often desire to reach adulthood as soon as possible, as this allows them to become more independent while taking on more tasks in their community. However, because childhood is dangerous for Ruskev children, much of it is often very restricted. They are often restricted to the camp or its outskirts, with a family member supervising them. This leads to them only being able to do specific tasks appropriate for their age, as they are not big enough to carry out adult duties or be taken seriously due to their youngness. This has caused many to count the days until they can finally do something essential to make their families proud.
