Hu'lun is different from other gods that ascended with Ethereal Shards, instead of finding he took it from another god. Hu'lun was a Demi god and his father was Aruzar, an nature god that rule what is now the Janati Desert. He also had a sister named Lenera, who also wanted wanted godhood as well. He of course was the one who came up with the idea in the first place as well. But no matter were ever he went he could not find a shard to ascend him at all. Hu'lun was a twisted being long before he became a god, for he was life a bitter struggle that was not worth the effort and started going down the path of death. He father never did really pay attention to it at all and he was allowed to go about his business. But while was away from prying eyes, he would be using alchemy to create terrible diseases that could kill in unspeakable ways. But his father would heal those afflicted by it and it would be eradicated. He was often furious about it but he could not show it or his father might discover his plans. Then one day he had a twisted and horrible idea that would change everything around him, he would murder his father and take his power in the process. He even brought her sister into the fold as well since they were lovers after all and why not ascend together. how he did it is still up to debate to this day, with saying a god killing disease or poisoning most unnatural. In the end he rose in the form of a raven that brought ideas were ever he went and believed that it brought peace with it.
