Baykok

The Baykok is a malevolent spirits the orginate in the Great Forest and is feared by the Forest Tribes of Ve’tal. They where originally either prideful warriors or obsessed hunters. The only way for a Baykok to be created is if the body is desiccated or did not receive properly burial after death. Every night it would leave its cave go out hunting any hunters and warriors it could find and kill them with a bow or a club. They are often very fast and let out a terrifying shrilling screech to scare it prey. Their arrows can even paralyze their victims as it being to eat the livers of it victims. They race the liver with a rock and close it with magic and the victim wakes up not remembering anything only to die later on. Other times they are bludgeoned to death with a club and the eating their liver. They only hunt one person a time and often away from civilization especially went spirits watching over them. The only ways to get rid of one its by gathering the remains of when they were living and giving them a proper burial or going it to their cave before night break them into pieces with a bludgeoning weapon slice all other weapon are impervious to them. Then the remains would be gathered up and placed on a fire and must keep going until the remains are completely turned to ash.
