Personal history
Bonnibel to put it simply was never meant to be born. Her mother was a dark mage, and it is strictly regulated whom dark mages can marry and reproduce with. That being said one night stands are sometimes a little difficult to watch for in an inn on Vinfull Oyer. Bonnibel's mother didn't know who exactly she enjoyed her night with, but assumed either they were either a wind or maybe an earth mage as those were the most common in the area. Most magics don't combine with light or dark magic, it's almost it's own separate category from elemental magic! It was just her luck that the mage was a plant mage, the one combination that she was strictly to avoid.
Bonnibel was born in Vinfull Oyer without much fanfare to just her mother and midwife being present. Bonnibel was a cheerful baby and was named as such by her mother. Despite the authority's disapproval of the birth her mother did love her dearly. Other children may have been told to avoid Bonnibel but her mother always played with her and taught her. She went to the small local school starting at age five. She was still avoided by other children however now there was a teacher actively encouraging it, one who looked the other way or punished Bonnibel when kids got physical. Bonnibel started to fight back with words and fists, because she would be punished either way, by the end of her first year. But at home her mother would comfort her and patch her wounds.
At seven was the much awaited affinity test. Her classmates were standard for the area, earth and wind with a few non elementals. But her test showed her affinity to be necromancy. A hush fell over the crowd then the next day would be a blur. She was whisked away to a boat alongside her mother in shackles. They made haste to the capital. In the Grand Judge hall they were surrounded by all the Grandmages and other council members, diviners were called in and arguments were made. Then sentencing.
At seven years old Bonnibel saw her mother Ammaranth Bran was sentenced to 20 years in prison for producing a necromancer. Bonnibel was ordered to never use her necromancy under threat of life imprisonment or death. She would learn how to use dark magic, plant magic, or non elemental magic.
She was passed then to the care of her new guardian and tutor, Kore. Bonnibel would be attending the large school at the capital city near her new residence, Trolldom School of Magic Excellency, which was usually a privilege reserved for the best of the best she was informed.
Bonnibel avoided Kore for weeks in her new residence, hiding under the bed provided or closets. Kore was patient, she didn't force Bonnibel to eat with her or talk to her. They communicated in notes around the house for an entire month, the only way Kore honestly knew the girl lived there. Then after a month a soft voice came from the hall closet. "Can we have chicken soup tonight?" In response to Kore wondering aloud what to make. From there Bonnibel slowly started to emerge and talk occasionally to Kore. Kore taught her new things that her mother didn't know, or get the chance to teach her. By time the school year started she tentatively trusted Kore. When she came home after her first day with bruises on her knuckles and a split lip Kore didn't scold her, just bandaged her up and talked gently. "They may not ever understand you, they may always cause you pain, but there are other ways than the fist little one." And Kore taught her verbal sparring, how to use words to sound kind while striking someone. Soon Kore became ma and the house home.
Bonnibel showed little progress in most magics except dark magic and potions but that was still only a little. Truth was that necromancy interferes with most magics and she would only find that easy, easy enough to do on accident. One day Kore found her crying in the garden. In her hands was a dead bunny, then the bunny wasn't so dead. She pulled the girl inside hugging and shushing her. Was this magic so wrong that a child was afraid of herself. Kore decided then nothing about Bonnibel was wrong, just the system. She promised Bonnibel that they would practice secretly and one day, she would be free.

She is female and she is very feminine. She wears the best dresses she can and shawls and jewels when possible. Even in her school uniform she somehow is always dazzling.

She is asexual! Definitely panromantic but she has no sexual interest in anyone and never will. Since no one her age likes her, she just ignores it.
Education
She was educated the standard 2 years of basic education before being brought to the capital to the Trolldom School of Magic Excellency for her remaining education. After reaching the required amount to basic education at ten her guardian enrolled her into the advanced education program at the school in dark magic and potions.
Morality & Philosophy
She believes in the golden rule, treat others the way you want to be treated, and since other kids hurt her she hurts them back. She has little problem fighting others physically or verbally when they have wronged her. This applies to when others are wronged as well. In terms of her necromancy she believes it is wrong to resurrect a recently dead person, but has no issue making undead minions of older bodies and animals. She calls it recycling, and they return to the earth to continue decomposing after she is done so she sees no harm.
