Personal history

Azure is born in the valley on a gentle spring night screaming up a storm. Quite literally in fact since her very birth caused a windstorm to start damaging most of the surrounding town. Her parents, a human and a potioneer with little magic, were in over their head. Believing that the girl was a curse to the village she was left outside in the meadow outside the village limits. The girl would not come to harm however, instead she would be found by a well known criminal who decided to raise the girl. Azure grows to be a rather sweet and quiet girl but is of course far more knowledgeable of the streets and back alleys than many of her friends. No matter how she is raised or taught the girl has a stubborn streak and a set of morals that she changes for no one, something that her criminal parent shockingly gave her. Her parent taught her control, how to breath and not show anger till the right moment. This likely saved more than a few children during playground scuffles. At five her adoptive parent decided they would settle in the Lonely Isle for a bit so that Azure could start her basic magic schooling while they did some... legitimate work. Like all children in the Kingdom her magic affinity would be tested at seven years old to determine her educational path. To the shock of the Education Council she was already able to make strong winds. Only a child now and untrained but one day with training would be powerful. Unlike most who get the choice between homeschooling, school, or apprenticeship she would be taken by the council and sent out to an apprenticeship citing it as protection from her criminal guardian. She was sent to apprentice with a wind mage whom most said could have been Grandmage with both his physical and magical strength. She is weary at first but the man's gentle nature coaxes her out of her shell and she grows to view him as another parent as they learn both in his cottage and while journeying the country. It also helps that her teacher found her parent snooping around the cottage and proceeded to invite them inside. Now they have both their parents under one roof!
