Haiden
Quiet and peaceful
A small, quiet Halfling village in western Aydah.
Demographics
The majority of the population of Haiden is halfling, but there is a small number of elves, orcs, and dwarves among them. Sayasak Lizardfolk are regular and welcomed visitors and the few Sayasak who tire of their nomadic way of life are welcome to settle in the village.
Government
The government of Haiden is loosely defined, run by a council of elders.
Infrastructure
Haiden is built on the shore of a small lake, warmed from beneath by the magic beneath Aydah; the lake holds a rich stock of fish. The village is small but has remarkably industrious, typically halfling infrastructure; a watermill along the river that drains the lake is capable of processing all the grain grown in the town's surprisingly large greenhouses.
Natural Resources
Haiden has rich stocks of fish and lumber, and large greenhouses capable of growing a lot of grain year-round, similar to their larger northern neighbor Priest's Rest.
