Once, the Blackened Kingdom was the mightiest of the Mortal Kingdoms, endless, lush fields and vineyards surrounding peaceful cities. But then, something changed. In an instant, the mortals were scoured from the land, the fields burned to black. Nobody knows what, precisely happened, but to this day demons and abominations march north from the ever-burning palace, to be stopped at the Wall, built to protect the other kingdoms from the dark lands at the south.
