Helos (HAY-Lows)
The Sunfather, Lightbringer, The Allseeing
Helos is the primary deity of the Tarseren pantheon and all the other gods (save Dhamoc) are related to him in some way. He is the ultimate creator of all life on Tarsere, and acts as a stern but mindful father figure to his creations. He watches over his creations daily and charges his faithful to promote tolerance, acceptance and understanding between all the races. He is opposed to Dhamoc and through his will alone protects the world from that god’s dark ways. He is the most commonly worshipped deity among ordinary humans and his priests and temples can be found throughout the land. He rarely appears in mortal form, preferring to appear as a glowing ball of light or a burning bush or some other inanimate form.
