Tar Gwennod Northwaye

Gwennod's mother was a beautiful Giant of common blood, living on her own small homestead near Frostwood Forest when an adventurer crossed her path in the woods one morning. He was feet shorter than her, but even more beautiful, lithe and darkly magical, with glowing violet eyes and a tendency to change into a bear.
She allowed him to wait out a storm with her, and sometime later she found she would soon have a small ball of company in the quiet forest. But that quiet was not to last, nor did the child ever get to see it.
Gwennod was born the very year the capitol city of Glamrengwen was formed, her mother driven from their homestead to what turned out to be a meeting place for the Giant resistance to the Dwarven invasion.
Gwennod grew up immersed in strategy and high stakes, acting as a messenger in her youth, but being too young to join too actively in the resistance. Of course she was of a very different stock than the Prime Giants, hunting in the forest with her bare hands and teeth at 5, and somehow able to see what was coming for her before it arrived.
When the war was over, she helped and tended to many of the refugees in the mountains, becoming lifelong friends with Vanessë Fayrevale, cofounding the brothel village of Thiad together, where Gwennod still resides as madam.
