Cloud Blossoms

The Blooming Isle in Alfheim is famous for its fat trunked, enormously tall trees with delicate, feathery branches. They are constantly in flower, different branches going through their seasonal cycle in weeks bearing sparkling, transluscent, pale pink fruit called cloud berries that tastes of delicate, floral cherries, with a sweet vanilla aftertaste reminiscent of cake or meringue.
In Truspring, however, the flowers themselves taste of cloud berries. Children on the Blooming Isle make great sport of catching them in their mouths as they fall, the moment they are at their absolute sweetest. When they eat the blossoms and the berries, before long the small ones are flitting about the treetops gathering the best of both.
