Planet of Twilight

A planet tidally locked against the stars, with one side blisteringly hot and in eternal light, the other half freezing cold and in eternal darkness, with a small band of land encircling the planet in between the two in eternal twilight, at a comfortable temperature. 
Myth and rumour hint at the ancestral home of the Kesirtke being this planet's light side.
