Aeta
One of the port cities for the Trade League of Zaresca, it sits in a steep hillside overlooking a small bay. Whilst the Trade League of Zaresca claims ownership over the entire island, only the immediate area around Aeta has been explored or utilised. This leaves much of the island as unexplored wilderness, unclaimed for millennia. Many avid exploration parties have ventured out from Aeta, but the landscape and Underdepths beneath are especially treacherous, and have given rise to the nickname "Aeta's Graveyard".
The city itself is small, with very little in defence against the harsh weather, relying mostly on the protection of the bay and hillside. The city is often still nicknamed the "Outpost", given it's slow growth and place as a base of operations for further island exploration; which is the reason it was settled in the first place.
