Mirkwood

This the the original forest in which the Anorian people hail from, and began their empire. The empire began with people of all sorts of races, but as the elves took power they began to shape it to look more as an empire built by themselves, for themselves.

History

Mirkwood is the ancestral home of all of those who consider themselves Anorian. It was here that the ancient settlements of the Protoanorians were found, and it was these homes that the Anorians of the 2nd Age would inhabit in its early years. In these homes, the Anorians learned of who the Protanoiran's had been in the first age, and saw themselves as their spiritual successors. Soon many people in Mirkwood would unite under the banner of Anor, lead on by the founding of the Eladrin Court. It was these two things that allowed for the Anorians to conquer Mirkwood and establish themselves as one of the growing nations in the early years of the 2nd Age.
