The Reach
The Reach is a massive world that stretches across two far-reaching landmasses, surrounded by numerous bunched up islands that hug tight to the shore lines. This realm has constantly been ruled by people and factions vying for power and fighting for their survival. In the ashes of
The Cataclysm the first tribes began to form throughout The Reach. Often bonding over their need for survival, different forms of tribes began to control small pockets of land. With little in the way of advanced religion, many of these first tribes found themselves worshipping
The Primordials as well as the
The Cosmos. These people had little understanding of the world they inhabited, so they worshipped what they could see with their eyes or feel in their hearts. Overtime these small groups went from scrapping for survival to subduing some of their greatest threats. For thousands of years these first nations strove to conquer the reach from it's most deadly of foes. Dragons were pushed from mountain tops, and monstrosities were driven deep below the ground. Once these beasts of The Reach were conquered by people who inhabited this land, they began looking to one another as competition. Since that day, almost all nations have competed with one another for power and influence over The Reach. Dynasties have risen to the greatest of heights and plummeted to the lowest depths during the last several thousands years. This constant churn has left The Reach a chaotic land in which conflict is always brewing and deities serve a means to garner more power for this never-ending cycle.
