Nhaie (Nayyh)

Nhaie is the current main home of the human population. Earth being long gone, this seemed like the best choice. A very hot yet thriving planet, Nhaie is an interesting place. Read on to learn more.

Geography

Split directly down the middle by a giant chasm full of lava known as The G.C.H., Nhaie has two hemispheres, West and East (which are in turn split into the Aboveground and the Underground), each with its own climate and geography. More details can be found on these pages, but basics can be found here:
  • The Western Hemisphere (The W.H.) is a very dry place full of deserts and tropical grasslands. This area is Aboveground.
  • The Western Below (The W.B.) is a vast underground system of caves and caverns with many, many lakes and oceans (all saltwater) (well, mostly). This area is Underground.
  • The Eastern Hemisphere (The E.H.) is a very humid place made up of tropical rainforests and tall mountain ranges. This area is Aboveground.
  • The Eastern Below (The E.B.) is a vast underground system of caves and caverns with many, many lakes and oceans (all freshwater) (well, mostly). This area is Underground.
  • The Great Chasm (the G.C.H.) is a deep, deep, DEEP chasm about a mile wide that's filled (to a point about 30 feet below the edge) with boiling lava
  • The Great Crystal (the G.C.) is a giant crystal (made of a currently unknown material) in Nhaie's core. The very center of the planet, this crystal emanates magical energy, which affects all organisms (plants, animals, bacteria, and other; including humans) living there. (Article coming soon!)
  • Nhaie's poles are very cold and its equator is very hot. Most of the planet, in fact, is quite warm. This is due to a lack of tilt on the planet's axis. (Article coming soon!).
