The Redeemed Blade of Grief

The Redeemed Blade of Grief (once simply called the Blade of Grief) was a cursed dagger that has been cleansed by Malvo. The blade was initially cursed during the civil conflict of Grief in the early years of the Era of Kings after the blade was used to kill the wrong person. The lord of the city, vying for the attention of the daughter of a powerful official, sent this blade to kill an unruly suitor. That suitor was forewarned, thus foiled that hit by tactfully placing the daughter in his place. The blade meant for him killed her, becoming another tragedy in the long list of intrigue that plagued that city. The suitor went to marry another, and became the new lord of the city after the previous lord and the official backing him fell in the depths of despair. The new lord then used the blade of Grief in utmost cruelty by killing his rivals with it as well.
This blade held that despair for years to come when Malvo bought it from Black Market Magics in Felicity. He would later have it cleansed before the battle of Dusk, and carries it still.
