The Mysterious Bodyguard

(a.k.a. Mysterious Stranger)

Not terribly much is known of this man's past, as he was not one to talk much, but he was one of the Invited. Neih at times invites random people unto the Path of Veritas from the Lesser Realms. If they accept, those souls are then connected to the reincarnation cycle of Veritas cosmology. The Church of Veritas on the Veritian Leaf is a case of a large population transfer, but often they come in small groups. The Mysterious Bodyguard travelled by himself. He was from a non-magical realm, and thus had much learning to do. He ultimately went under the service of Ambassador Thvorn, and died at the hands of adventurers during the Devastation of Crossroads.
Later, his body would be claimed by the King Bedrich and raised into undead service as one of his bodyguards during the battle with the Sovereign Peoples of Neih.
