The Greenscale Hunters

The Greenscale Hunters are an organization founded by the Church of Veritas, though it has long since become non-partisan and multinational. Founded in 725 by the Frittian paraclete, this guild was tasked in hunting green dragons. After the Dragon Blight finished, they guarded the hags which held the keys to Balmerrait's prison, as well as hunting down the remaining dragonkin.

Structure

The Greenscale Hunters are guild funded by completing hunts. Early on, ranking was determined by how many green dragons one has slain. That eventually changed to green dragon and their allies, to finally any monster of threat.

Culture

They hold a disciplined and war like culture, disliking politics and fancy talk. But it has become a guild of old hunters reminiscing on their old fights and exploits, with new membership dwindling.

Assets

Most of their wealth is old money earned from times past, most of which is held by their main bases in Break, Flef, and Fort Tuth. But, their funds wane as their guild becomes more and more obsolete with other monster hunter guilds gaining ground. The only task which they are still readily paid for is maintaining the prison of Balmerrait, but even that is falling through with the killing of many of their jailers. Rumors of Balmerrait's rise have been increasing.
