Tarkin Darkfoot

Tarkin Darkfoot is the creation of Joshua Dale Harman.
Tarkin Darkfoot was a halfling from Evermore, though it would be a lie to say he was loyal to that poor city during his time. Before the Dormant Advance, the agents of the Dormant Clot were sent throughout the Southern Farmlands to recruit members and cause mischief. Tarkin was one such recruit. He spied on the Summer church for a few years before the Dormant Army attacked the city. His mark of infamy was his betrayal of the halflings of Poppy Hills. His actions in that tragedy led to the defeat of the formidable resistance that district of Evermore kept up. The short bard tale "The Lament of Poppy Hill" is based on Tarkin Darkfoot.
After the defeat of Fall and the breaking of Dormant control, Tarkin remained loyal to the Dormant. He hid with a group of powerful halflings during the Long March to Evermore, gathering info on the Evermore Resistance and causing minor subterfuge as he waited for his moment. He saw these individuals as good offerings to Tash if they could be controlled once again, so during their attempt to kill the general of the Dormant, Tarkin betrayed them. It was not enough, as Tash and Tarkin were still both defeated.
