Summer Unification
Summer Unification is a movement from the Summer Worship halflings started in the year 1070 to unify their main three strongholds of faith, Amchester, Third and Evermore. While these three cities were far a part under the occupation or sovereignty of the powerful nations of the Church of Veritas, Tumult, and the Sovereign Peoples. But, all three of these cities faced much hardship in the early 11th century, which built in them a desire for independence from their subjugators. But pure independent city-states were a dying breed in the post-Dormant world. So, these three seperate cities decided to attempt to unify under one banner of faith. By 1130, they are on the cusp of severing their ties to the Tumult and the Sovereign Peoples, but they are still have resistance from the Mineosians of the Church.
While not receiving specific privileges, the three cities have decided that Third would be their capitol, as it was the historical birthplace of Halfling Summer Worship during the Sundering.
Public Agenda
Independence is their prime objective, though their Summer worship tenets keep them from large violent uprisings. What they do have is public approval, even from their opposition. It is hard to hate these peaceful party animals.
Military
The Summer Worship have 5 orders that could be called upon for war:
1- Summer Paladins: Halfling paladins and clerics with Summer as their patron. All three cities have branches of this order.
2- Third Militia: Arising during the Mineorians Crusade's attempt to conquer Tumult, this militia is trained for guerrila warfare, equipped with explosives and assassins for city combat and supply line disruption. They hale from Third.
3- Larkin Bloods: Blood hunters from the school of Larkin, these halflings use alchemical means to empower themselves for combat. They hale from Evermore.
4- The Circle of Laughter: A druidic order of Summer based in Amchester.
5- The Bar Rumble: Not particularly an order, as there is no overt members. Rather, it is an agreement all halflings take when they drink at the various taverns in the three cities. If there is conflict in the city, bartenders can call a bar rumble, which means all drinkers in the bar must pick up arms in the defense of the city. It is like a draft.
