Sestycius

Sestycius was a cambion (half-fiend) who fought for the Lady of Dusk in the Battle for Dusk during the Demon Troubles of Tumult. He fell through the cracks in the planar damage in Draught. The realm he came from is unknown, but it is known that he was born from the uncommon union of a Valkyrie and a death god. He fled north after coming through, learning quickly that Draught is not a place for planar beings. He eventually made it to Dusk and met the Lady of Dusk. He quickly fell in love and devoted his being to her purposes, though even without love involved he found her motives worthy of his service. His support sped up the Lady's plans, seeing that the large city-wide portal to the Nine Hells opened over Dusk soon after his arrival. He is known in the Battle for Dusk for his trap at the Dusk central square where he gathered all his opposition to attend his execution, then summoned an army upon them all. This put his enemies in retreat, and the Lady could have won the day with this victory. Unfortunately, most of his opposition unified soon after to counter attack, and Sestycius and the Lady were killed by a group of assassins.

Motivation

His motives were to support the Lady of Dusk in her attempts to bring fiends unto the Path of Veritas. The reason she did this was to bring fiends into the reincarnation cycle for a chance to change their nature through countless lives, rather than their previous plane which saw them die for good if they perished in their own plane. Though they were both evil, something in them hated their evil.
