Polly the Far Darrig

Polly was a Far Darrig, a fey rat herder and piper of the Eastern Fey Wilds. Spending most her life performing in and around the colonial territory of the Shadar-Kai, such as the Sinfetter Salt Flats and the Fey Gates, but had to move north due to the Dormant Rise. In 1035 she tried her luck as an entertainer at the court of Oriaphia, performing for the Duke archfey there. The Duke was not pleased, and Polly was made an enemy of the crystal palace. Seeing this as a hint that the Veritian Leaf was no longer for her, she aimed to find passage through the Fey Gates to another leaf, whether it be the dark leaf Neih Shadar-Kai, with the bird peoples of Neih Aarakocra, or even the untamed wilderness of Neih Datid. Yet the Duke is a capricious archfey, paying offense with pain. A curse was set on Polly that as she walked through the portal, rather than flee the leaf, her consciousness was placed into a random warlock named Gloranna who was also at the time experimenting with strange magics. From that point on, her soul competed for control of their body with Gloranna.
She would finally be free in 1052, when a group of heroes fought through Gloranna's traumas and killed her attached spirit.
