Gladden Falls Institute for the Criminally Insane

In the year 940, King Frederick the Second of Tumult founded the Gladden Falls Institute for the Criminally Insane. It was part of his Tumult Reconstruction Plan after their defeat by the mages of Val'ul. Tumult was at a low point in their history. Public morale was at its lowest and the economy was doing poorly to pay off the debt accrued in the war effort. Added to this was a surge of violent crime especially from veterans of the war. Rather than executing or sending these once fine soldiers to the Pit, he made this institution to try to rehabilitate and heal them. At first it accepted people on certain criteria, such as service in the war, but eventually focused mainly on serving those suffering from some sort of madness. It is located north-east of Felicity, and was in the process of shutting down for lack of clients until the killer Gloranna was sent there after the assassination of King Iscalon the Fourth in the year 1040. The place has gone quiet since then, and the new king of Tumult, king Bedrich, has tasked a group of professionals to enter the facility and fix the issue as part of his war effort with the Dormant.
