Lord Thvorn

Lord Alistar Thvorn is a shadar kai elf from the Shadar Kai empire. He was the second hand man of Lothcryn, the founder of Sinfetter, and when the city fell to the Dormant, he was one of the few who got out. He did not flee though, as he went north to the land of the Duke of Oriaphia, attempting the trial of Dukedom against his competition Kalethorn Nur. He wanted to gain the archfey's dukedom in order to muster an army to reconquer Sinfetter from the Dormant. He did not win over Kalethorn, as the abandoned son of Malvo had a motivation he could not beat. While this goal was lost, he did witness the power of the heroes of Tel'ul, and went there to garner aid after the Dormant advance was quelled there. He got it, and later that year marched an army with the hero Foldstead back to Sinfetter, defeating the Night Terror and reclaiming the city. His victory was soured by the fact that his commander Lothcryn did not survive the occupation and his daughter Lysan had gone missing. He ruled the city as an interim governor while the empire figured out what to do next with the salt colony, a decision low on their priority list.
Half a century later, he would come across a group of strangers who would track down and kill the hiding Dormant monster Night Terror and rescue Lysan from their grasp. With her return, and a celestial specticle done by one of these strangers, and the Rise of the Raven Queen began. Giving the throne of Sinfetter back to Lysan, Lord Thvorn aided her and her guardian Achilles in wrestling control of the city back from the various groups that have been leeching off its poverty and despair. They were able to drain the Dormant's control over the nobility, kick out the GRG, and block the SPN's attempts at economically annexing the city. Unfortunately, Lysan had three hag advisors helping her (of which he could not figure out how they interposed themselves into her life), and they had sway over one of Achilles' mercenary squad. This mercenary, Tavvan, would end up killing Lord Thvorn during a secret meeting to fight a mind flayer issue in the shadowrealm. Tavvan did not mean to kill him, rather it was a trick by the septuagenta horror the No One messing with his mind. Though Lord Thvorn would not know this, only remembering that those three crones once controlled Tavvan and must have gotten through to him again.
His death would be the harbringer of the failure of Sinfetter's independence, with Lysan losing all her support with the sealing of the Tuthian Break. Few would know what good was done that day, as the motherland would come down in force, arresting Lysan and executing all her supporters. Lord Thvorn's body would never be found, as Achilles and his gang got the dreamweaver Bod to carry the body in a pocket dimension. Bod later vanished with the many others stuck in the shadowrealm
