Duke of Oriaphia

The Duke of Oriaphia is an archfey who lives on the Veritian Leaf. His court is in Oriaphia, in the Eastern Fey Wilds. The city arose with him, making many conclude that he and the city are linked. He is a capricious archfey, seeking to entertain himself above all else. In the search for enjoyment, he set up the Trials of Inheritance where he would offer his kingdom if someone could complete ten tasks to his satisfaction. Most people fail, but not before giving him a great show. Many have grown to hate the Duke, as the allure to his power have claimed many a significant individual. One example was the dragonborn Sal, once leader to the Neih's Breath entertainment troupe who was cursed after his failure in the trials.   In 1040, the Duke accepted Kalethorn Nur as a contender for the dukedom. He finds the half-elf child to be the first interesting candidate to emerge in the last five hundred years. He watches closely for the kid to complete his trials and take his crown. The new link Kalethorn made with the Ussaire god Vengeance has been the greatest boon the Duke has seen in a while.

Tenets of Faith

Some warlocks have garnered a quasi-patronage with this archfey, getting power in exchange for entertaining the fey. But the Duke proves an unreliable patron, often abandoning his worshippers if it would be funny. It is not advised to seek his aid.
