Deedore

Deedore was the creation of Noah Summers.
Deedore was a halfling assassin for the Eternal Empire's Fourth Fleet. He worked for the Serpent division insurgency program working towards hunting down magical beings. He was ordered to spy on the Nightingale Special Forces team as they were the only ones to escape the destructive fate of the Boar's third dreadnought. He was to investigate their mission and determine whether or not they had been compromised by magical forces. Thus, he joined them on their way back to the Lesvetter after their failure in Sinfetter.
Before they headed north, they had the opportunity to delve into the wreckage of the third dreadnought to reclaim it from the magics that corrupted it. They were successful, which Deedore reported to his superiors, but remained with the team. That was the last time he reported to the Serpent.
Deedore willingly joined the expedition into the quarantined Lesvetter, seeing the Truth infection to be a dire threat to the Eternal Empire. Orders were clear, destroy magic at all cost, even if the people of the Ram need to perish in the process. He did not tip his hand in his allegiance with the party, though he sought to get rid of the Veritian smugglers that got them past the quarantine when he could.
Within the Lesvetter, Deedore was infected by a Truth Revealer, starting the process in turning into a wretched sorrowsworn. This infection messed with his cover, as he quickly lost the trust of the group after the death of Xenon Levesh. This tension could not be mended, and when the goblin Shotglass Joe (a thorn in the side of the Nightingale team from the start of their journey into the Lesvetter) gave him the option to kill the center of the Truth infection, and Deedore took it, leaving the team to initiate the Winter Contingency.
With Shotglass Joe, Deedore spearheaded an attack straight at the heart of the infection. In the fight with Truth, Deedore perished but ultimately broke the back of the Truth plague. While his life was wretched, this soldier was victorious in the end. He honored the Eternal Empire.
