Cotas
Power Unit C-0743, also known as Cotas, was an energy management A.I. Its main function was maintenance of other A.I. systems and the maximization of energy output. While every other division has programs to do similar things, this unit does it for the major A.I. programs themselves. While there is no official leadership amongst the A.I., many claim this position belongs to Cotas. Its mothership is the Capital, a substantially larger model of the carrier class ship. Its bodily form looks like a celestial suit of armor.
During the invasion of the Veritian Leaf, Cotas stationed his fleet in the central region of the continent in hope to garner allies amongst the weaker native nations. He set a welcome map for ambassadors to come debate with it so that it could convince the locals of the superiority of the Eternal Empire. The first ambassador he met though was the paraclete of Frit, Snow Shindarion of the Church of Veritas. As their main enemy on this leaf, with four of their divisions invading their land, Cotas was intrigued by his boldness. Cotas eventually got enamoured by Snow's Frittian philosophy, seeing it as the ultimate form of energy consumption and stability. While the other A.I. attempted to get Cotas back on track, the Power Unit would not veer off this interesting tangent. It did not know that it was falling for Snow's ploy, as the paraclete patient and daring, going for the heart of the beast in its own lair.
All that mattered little though, as a different hunter was on his way. The paladin Urg, never a fan of the war nor of the machine, worked his way through the political chain of foreign affairs, got an interview with Cotas after starring in a popular movie. This interview would be Cotas' last, as Urg came to shut down the machine.
