Capitol
Capitol was the mothership of the Stallion Division of the Eternal Empire's Fourth Fleet. It was called "Capital" because the A.I. of that division, Power Unit C-0743 (also known as Cotas) was the de facto leader of the fleet and thus it's ship was the main one of the fleet. The council of A.I. voted unanimously on this. The ship is shaped like a carrier, though much larger considering it carries hundreds of thousands of people. The purpose of Capital was power management and diplomacy.
During the invasion of the Veritian Leaf in 1102, Capital travelled to the central region of the continent in order to negotiate diplomatically with the lesser powers of the leaf while the more powerful regions were invaded. They hoped to find allies amongst the inhabitants, conquering peacefully rather than through annexation. They were doing such when, after a great day for the entertainment industry with the release of the movie "Bedrich", they were attacked by a nearby pirate lord, the vampire Rosegrip. In the chaos, the night suddenly turned to day, a terrible substance infected the ship, and the A.I. Cotas was destroyed by the paladin Urg.
Districts
Capital is divided into 7 districts.
Path of Welcome: In the lower bow of the ship there is the main civilian entrance. As the Capital uses diplomacy as a weapon, this district is designed to be welcoming and show the prosperity of the Eternal Empire. It is geared towards tourism and pleasure, offering a wide range of shopping, clubs, and once upon a time a majestic park (which was corrupted by a blight once it got to the Veritian Leaf).
Servers: In the lower stern of the ship, guarded by a thick hull, is Servers. This is where the main servers of the Fourth Fleet are. They keep the place very cold, and is mostly managed by machines. Most data of the fleet is sent here to be analyzed before being transfered to other divisions or back to the fatherland (a noteable exception are the more clandestine and secret data meant for the Rat or the Rooster). This district was not open to the public.
Stables: In the middle level of the ship is the Stables. It is the residential district for the staff of the Stallion.
Bureau of Personnel: In the middle level of the ship is the Bureau of Personnel. Most of the non-military staff of the Stallion work here in data management and processing, some bureaucratic duties, law firms, and other assortments of white collar drugdgery. It is a dreary cement jungle of a district, devoid of color and meaning. When a blight caused a quarantine in the district, many found the burning bodies and sealed off buildings a quaint diversion.
Fourth Fleet Energy: At the top level bow is Fourth Fleet Energy. Though it does consist of many power plants, its main focus is innovation in energy production. While it started as a branch of the Stallion Division, this sector was bought by Eternal Electrics and remained a privatized subsidiary since. It also has a management sector for energy production within the fleet.
Throne of Cotas: At the top stern of the ship is the Throne of Cotas, an imposing hall and meeting chamber for the A.I. of the division. Ambassadors from foreign lands they hope to subjugate come here to talk with Cotas. It is a way to show them how little they are in comparison to the might of the Eternal Empire. Much good it did them when Cotas was found mangled and dead on the floor.
Dialogue: In the middle of the ship is a large tower that expands from top to bottom. It is the political district of the ship, and is where they host the emissaries from foreign lands. It provides many comforts while they wait for their turn to meet Cotas, as well as an opportunity to explore branches of other divisions of the fleet. It also serves as an embassy for travelling Eternals, but only when not in an active warzone.
