The Virelyn Host
The Virelyn Host is a militant conclave of Feywild Rangers who serve not as protectors of boundaries, but as agents of expansion—champions of the Fey Realm’s inevitable blooming into the mortal world. Founded under the moonlit decree of an unnamed Archfey of wild growth and storm, the Host sees the separation between planes as a temporary and misguided illusion. They believe the Feywild is the truer reality, and that it is the natural destiny of the Material Plane to be reclaimed by arcane nature. Cloaked in riotous blue-greens and trailing multicolored mist, the Host moves like a living current of magic, seeding enchantment and reshaping reality wherever they pass. Their leader, Stormwarden Elyra, rides a skyborne elk with antlers cradling a stormcloud, a living symbol of tempestuous transformation.
When the first Fey Rift tore open beneath the Kryptgarden Forest, it was not an accident—it was an invitation. The Virelyn Host arrived not to contain the breach, but to nurture it, to coax it wider, to entangle the land in the blooming chaos of Fey magic. They wrapped the forest in illusions, lured wild beasts with whispered songs, and enchanted the soil itself to pulse with otherworldly growth. Mortals who stumbled too close were charmed or driven mad, their memories rewritten with visions of eternal twilight.
The Crown of the Whispering Thorn worn by the Stormwarden fell to the ground after the The Owl Friends finally closed the rift. Electra DeSol used Harval’s Veilstone to sucessfully patch the rift and send the Fey reality back to it’s own plane of existence. Thus ending the Virelyn Host’s grandiose plans.
