The Fanes of Barovia

One for the Swamp, fed by the rivers. One for the Forests, that cover the land. One for the Mountains, that look over all.

The Fanes of Barovia refer to both the areas that each of the Ladies Three controlled, as well as the main shrine dedicated to each. Each sees to a specific environment of Barovia and dedicated shrines can be found there. The Weaver ruled over the swamps and rivers, her shrines marked by a Weeping Willow. The Huntress prowled the mountains, her shrines marked with a Wolf's Head. The Seeker roamed in the forests covering the lands, her shrines marked with an Eye. The Wildfolk of Barovia worshiped these Fey by building shrines to them, large and small. The smaller ones often close to the main shrine, showing the way for worshipers. It is here that the worshipers would leave small offerings of food and trinkets for their continued blessing.
Some of these shrines still stand to this day, both large and small. Some even believe that the Ladies Three could be brought back, breaking Strahd's domination of the land itself.
