Session 44: A Witch? In Barovia?

General Summary

Wasn't there a child inside?

The Wandering Apocalypse continued on into the Ruins of Berez to find the last Fane of Barovia. This turned rather difficult, as they had only a general clue about where the fane. Luckily, they had found a waystone before, and managed to track down the shrine from there.
They did get distracted by the old buildings in the swamp. Trudging forward, quickly deciding to use some water walking instead, and finding the odd scarecrow, they came upon a tree with a hut build upon it. Ravens were locked up in cages attached to the sides, and were making a massive ruckus. Quick to act, they lumbered forward and ordered Beefcake to break open the cages. With a loud groan of iron, the first cage was opened. As the construct lumbered forward, they however quickly figured out that the hut did have an inhabitant. None other than Baba Lysaga.
None too happy about this intrusion, the hut quickly rose to its feet and combat erupted. Though pummeled rather heavily, the party managed to dispose of the hut first, the skull second, and finally Baba Lysaga herself. Not only this, but they managed to grab hold of one of the Gifts of the Ladies Three and sent it with one of the ravens to the Wizard of Wines.
