Ruins of Berez

Ah, Berez. I remember my grandmother telling me about that place. A sad tale.

Berez was once a small village in Barovia, much like Vallaki or Krezk. However, Strahd von Zarovich became displeased with it. The rivers soon swallowed the village whole, leaving only ruins behind. The rivers never retreated and the area is still a marshland to this day, as to warn the other villages what happens if one displeases their master.
