Session 31: the Ethereal Advantage Conga Line

General Summary

The Wandering Apocalypse has buried the poor Father Lucian Petrovich, who died at clearly the hands of Fiona Wachter and her cultists. During their daytime nap, they however are visited by a small and watery girl that threw cards at them combined with cryptic riddles, as you cannot traverse these lands without. Having dealt with all the issues in Vallaki, they set out instead for Argynvostholt in an attempt to redeem themselves and gather some friends instead. This is something they've so far not been too great at, but who know.
They come upon Argynvostholt without too much trouble, and quickly enter the halls. They explore the lower floor, except for the Chapel of Great Trauma, and set out for the first floor instead. They manage to find a head, which turned out to be a stone head. Classic Strahd. They also proceed to trigger exactly the same trap they previously triggered, and war cries bellowed from the adjacent tower rooms denouncing Strahd's troops naturally followed soon. They actually manage to survive, utterly demolish a door, kill the ancient spooky warriors trapped here, and bash their way through the wall erected by the trap behind which Andrius was standing, as he was probably distracted by something. That's essentially all.
