Naids

Naids are mythical creatures that are believed to live in the springs of the Naydan river. Many of the local people still believe that the Naids are responsible for the clear and fresh water that comes down from the mountains and that it is thanks to the Naids that the river takes its course south along the mountain slopes instead of running out into the Great Desert.
