Personal history

Torak Mek was born in a small town on Prometheia about 20 years before the arrival of the Elders. He was a son of a Mokant trader. The popularity of mokant ensured his father a steady income which allowed the family to live on a decent level. His life changed when the Elders arrived. Torak was 20 years old and trying to succeed as a trader in a big city. One day, when he was transporting goods from villages to the city three capsules landed in front of him. From each of the capsules exited a mask figure in grey clothes. They said to him that they travelled from a very distant place and want to rest. Torak invited them to his house. Those three masked figures were the Elders. They were observing Torak. After some time they started to help him in ways that seemed miraculous. With their help Torak became the richest trader in the city. When he asked his guests why they are helping him they answered that they see potential in him. At that point Torak had no idea what they meant.
In the next few years Torak saw his guests working with the city's government and even with the king. This when he and everyone else heard the name "Elders" for the first time. In the next few years, the Elders brought the kingdom to prosperity and people started to worship them as gods despite that the Elders repeatedly said that they are not gods.
Start of the religion started a period of religious wars with other countries. The result of the most of them was the other country accepting the gifts of the Elders and adpoting the new religion. Then the Elders returend to Torak and told him that they need him. The Elders understood that nothing will convince Velors that they aren't gods. Elders came up with the plan to proclaim one of the Velors their representative. They chose Torak.
After the Elders announced their choice of Torak Mek as their representative the official structures of the Church started to form. The thing the Elders didn't expect was that leaders of countries started to yield all their power to Torak.They were saying that only the Elders' chosen can lead the Velors.
