Vega System

The Vega System is a modest, fairly well settled star system that serves primarily as the seat of the Aseni Republic of Vega. Though it was initially a relatively backwards system, particularly by the standards of the Line Worlds, it received significant investment as a secure place away from the APR's military. While it has not yet caught up economically to some of the other important systems within the Republic it has become a peer to them.

Vega Prime is a large orange giant star. Initially not selected for colonization due to its unusual lumosity. However, it's light output became more acceptable in later colonization attempts, and as Vega Prime's planets were selected for possible terraforming attempts.

The Nooyi System is a smaller moon of Vega II, it currently serves as a naval base for the system's defense fleet, and listening post.

Vega is a rich and prosperous world that has become incredibly important as a result of its establishment as the seat of the Aseni Republic of Vega. It is governed by a representative republic that, also serves as the government of the whole of the Republic. Much of the world's functions have been taken over by bureaucratic functions of running the wider Vegan Republic.
