Mason is the youngest sibling in the Duncan family. Since his older brother is the future leader of the pack, Mason is not very bothered with the responsibilities of the pack. He only has three in his line, which is unusual. His siblings have at least 15 betas underneath them (which in turn have their own betas as well) that are their eyes and ears in Eeriedale.
His rebellious nature has caused a fragile relationship with his father, especially during the time that Mason was best friends with Drake Malcolm. No one really knows why Mason and Drake became enemies, save for the two of them.
