Unicorns are a species of horse-like magical creature with a single horn on their forehead. The unicorns are considered the most beautiful and pure of magical creatures and protected under the law in Mundus Magicus. Parts of unicorn, especially their hair and horn, are sometimes used as materials in some potions or magical rituals, and can be legally obtained if no harm is done to the unicorn during the process. Due to the cost and stringent legal requirements to obtain these ingredients, some have turned to the black market to obtain these items and other unicorn parts for lower prices and less hassles.
