Ancient Egyptian Magic

Much about ancient Egyptian magic is unknown. The only confirmed user within the universe is the Black Reaper, and he has only ever used Egyptian dark magic, particularly soul magic.

Egyptian dark magic

• Soul Removal – the process of removing a soul from its vessel by forcibly pulling it out
• Soul Absorption – the process of which a soul is infused with another soul; in addition, the physical energy of the vessel of which the soul was removed from is absorbed by the vessel containing the other soul (assuming the other soul has vessel)
  • Allows for increase in spiritual energy concentration
  • Allows for faster regeneration (increases the rate of cell division, which would normally shorten one’s lifespan, but because this black technique extends your lifespan indefinitely, there no loss)
  • Allows for longer lifespan (modifies the telomerase activities of somatic cells, including neurons, to activate to a certain extent that would allow for the cells to divide normally without losing telomeres and does not transform into malignant tumors)
  • For neurons, it replaces them at rate that wouldn’t degrade cognitive abilities, yet allow for more learning and memory retention
  • Allows for the original soul to obtain selected memories, experience, and knowledge of the absorbed souls
• Soul Surgery – Modifying the soul to whatever the surgeon wants
• Soul Take Over (Possession) – Can only be used by souls outside the body; enters the body of any living thing with less spiritual energy and take over
