the Midnight Waters *WIP*

When you turn the light off in a room, nothing has changed except the light is now gone. The air is not filled with blackness, it is not a solid thing. Everything that was there in the light is still there without light.
What you fear is in the Midnight Waters. When you go to its shores, the inky water does not betray her. She is there, but you can not tell how deep down. She is watching, but you do not know if she is watching you or something else. The only thing you are curtain of is how small you feel. As if you are nothing of consequence, nothing substantial, nothing sustaining, nothing more than a snack.
