Wecta Eafason
Uncle of King Leofric Eafason, and heir to the throne of Gewisse. Some of Gewisse's nobles think he would be a better king than his nephew; he is older than Leofric, a proven general, and much more reserved than his nephew. Wecta himself seems completely loyal to the crown, but if something were to happen to Leofric, he would do his duty and rule.
