Hagdan-Hagdang Palayan
An ancient agricultural wonder that has been in use for over 2,000 years. The rice terraces are a testament to the ingenuity of the people of Pulo, who used their knowledge of irrigation and agriculture to create a sustainable food source in the mountainous regions of the island. Several of the island's cultures claim to have originally constructed the terraces, but scholars from outside the island generally credit the Ipugao.
